For all of us, life and ministry are a marathon not just a sprint. We are running for the eternal victory stand not just the earthly finish line. Our ultimate calling is to “His eternal glory in Christ.”
(1 Peter 5:10) Our real scoreboard is in heaven. This is the most powerful motivation for all we do together. 

As we equip church leaders to make the “next new thing” the “first old thing” – by returning to a biblical model for supernatural gospel impact, we are participating in the realities that truly matter, both now and in eternity.

  • Accelerated Growth Of Our Vital Coaching Ministry To Church Leaders – because pastors are hungry to lead more effectively in prayer
  • Deepening Of Life-Giving Relationships Among 6:4 Leaders – because pastors are lonely, isolated, and hungry for a deeper fellowship with one another
  • Expansion Of Our Ministry To The Person In The Pew – because praying pastors need mature, praying people to carry the ministry load

  • Vigorous Investment in a New Generation of Church Leaders – because our nation needs emerging church leaders who will guide the church of tomorrow into biblical ministry and powerful gospel advancement

Prayer Culture Immersion Experience – 2023

  • Scholarship funds for coaching another 100+ church planters in our Praying Leader coaching cohorts 
  • Two more “Immersion Experiences” for seminarians and church planters under 30. Additional funds needed for travel, lodging, meals, and training
  • Expand existing budget for an additional team member focused on marketing, next generation networking, and coaching recruitment
  • Video training resource for seminarians on “prayer-and-word-powered” leadership

PASTORS SUSTAINED IN THE RACE 

  • Aggressive expansion of The 6:4 Fellowship membership to provide vital regular resources and relationships for pastors (currently in 47 countries) via new marketing and recruitment efforts
  • Empowering leaders for a “glorious finish” through additional coaching offerings
  • Two pastors/wives retreats for our key 6:4 leaders to refresh their souls and strengthen their marriages
  • Ongoing ministry couples coaching cohorts
  • Annual training retreats for our 6:4 Directional Leaders, Regional Directors, Regional Leaders, and Renewal Team members
  • Conducting a landmark research project on pastor’s prayer lives, prayer convictions, and pray leadership in the local church
  • Multiple virtual Global Symposiums to equip and connect pastors in regions across North America and the globe on the paramount issues and challenges of ministry

  • Aggressive mobilization of our Renewal Coaches to equip and lead prayer experiences in scores of churches, multiplying our impact within congregations across the U.S. and Canada 
  • Production of additional small-group training resources designed to equip “6:3 disciples” in the local church.
  • The release and distribution of Daniel Henderson’s new book, Never Shaken:Book standing on end titled Never Shaken Finding Your Footing When the World is Sliding Away (Moody) to strengthen the faith and endurance of Christ-followers 

Your donation or pledge (to be fulfilled by December 31, 2023) also helps support our general fund, providing for our amazing staff and allowing us to serve God’s people, locally and globally, with a whole array of resources on a daily basis — for the sake of the Gospel as we all champion a GLORIOUS FINISH.

CHAMPIONING A GLORIOUS FINISH GLOBALLY

  • Continued translation of our in-demand Praying the Psalms resource into Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, French, Farsi, Arabic, Serbo-Croatian, Afrikaans, and Japanese 
  • Distribution of e-versions in most of the above nations and people groups 
  • Editing, layout and distribution of printed versions in Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, and Serbo-Croatian 
  • Additional translation and distribution of some of our most popular books, both in their complete form and in summary booklets 
  • Creation of a Spanish Praying Leader virtual coaching curriculum

  • Landscaping, fencing and furnishings for a beautiful, new two-room, two-bath home for 6:4 pastors and their families to “get away,” near Smith Mountain Lake, VA. Plus, a small working office for President and Founder, Daniel Henderson
