It was ten years ago this February, that Daniel Henderson and Pastor Jim Cymbala saw their vision for a new movement among pastors come to life. Pastor Cymbala helped us to co-found The 6:4 Fellowship and has traveled extensively with Daniel Henderson, ministering across the nation and helping extending our ministry to pastors. In January, Daniel had the joy of being back at The Brooklyn Tabernacle to speak at the Tuesday night prayer meeting. He expressed his gratitude to the church for their gracious partnership and was able to bring a message from Acts 4:23-31 to further encourage their far-reaching ministry of life transforming prayer.
Pastor Wilton DeGraffe is one of our recent coaching graduates who pastors an inner-city congregation in the heart of Queens Village, NY. Through our coaching process, God quickened Wilton’s heart on the need to make prayer a more vital part of all the church’s ministry. Just recently, Wilton was moved to tears as he brought this before his church leadership team. The elders unanimously came behind Wilton in this and are now making prayer their foundation of all ministry, as they seek to make a greater Gospel impact in their community.
Over 1,500 leaders are now part of The 6:4 Fellowship, receiving resources each week and encouraging one another in the priorities of prayer and the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4). We are constantly adding new regional leaders to our team, now over 40, who are helping to seed and serve their local communities in casting a vision for what God can do through praying churches.
Through the prayer coaching with Strategic Renewal, Pastor Bill Richardson’s ministry through prayer has been transformed. God used the coaching experience to birth a new prayer gathering in Bill’s church in Pullman, WA, but that would just be the beginning.
Soon after, Bill was then asked to speak and lead a prayer time at an out of state denominational pastors’ gathering. God moved in a mighty way, and in that gathering gave Bill a vision to bring this home to Pullman, WA.
What happened next was simply a supernatural work of God. Bill and his elders planned a prayer breakfast at their church. Before they knew it, someone offered to pay for the breakfast and an entire team of cooks volunteered – without even being asked! Their first breakfast had 30 pastors there from 15 churches and ministries. The leaders loved it so much that they asked to do it again.
Bill has now helped to lead 7 prayer breakfasts with a different group of 30 pastors every month. All of the breakfasts have been paid for and will be covered for the rest of the year. Bill has helped involve a different pastor in the prayer leading each time and now they are seeing pastors meet together and pray together outside of the pastors’ breakfasts.
God is now opening doors for them to connect with local officials and law enforcement for city-wide prayer needs. Please continue to pray with us, and with Bill, for a continued move of God through the prayers of His people in Pullman, WA and beyond.

The new book will be titled, Transforming Presence: How The Holy Spirit Changes Everything From The Inside Out. So many of our churches operate from an Old Testament perspective of the person and work of the Holy Spirit. This new book aims to bring New Testament clarity to the third person of the Trinity and help believers experience His power more succinctly in our lives and our local church gatherings.

Very often we are honored to minister in churches of significant influence by equipping, preaching and leading church-wide prayer experiences. In the first quarter, we saw the Lord bless these partnerships in profound ways.
All combined, these three congregations reach almost 15,000 people every weekend. We are thrilled to see a growing passion among churches to seek God in prayer. We count it a privilege and sacred stewardship to help “fan the flame” in these influential prayer-motivated ministries.
Our equipping ministry through coaching continues to grow exponentially. This training is unlike any else available to the church today. We are seeing leaders be equipped for healthier, and more fruitful ministry that is grounded in Scripture and prayer. Already in 2018 we have coached dozens of church leaders and individuals, with participants from the US, Canada, Thailand, Philippines the Caribbean. We trust God will continue to grow this medium for leadership training in the months and years to come.
