CHURCH IN CRISIS / 2000
In 2000, Strategic Renewal was implemented out of the overflow of Daniel Henderson’s pastoral ministry in the local church.

FANNING THE FLAMES / 2007
In 2007, God turned a growing passion into a life calling for Daniel Henderson. Daniel’s church sent him out as a “missionary” to ignite fires of revival in churches across the country.

MULTIPLYING THE MOVEMENT / 2010
In 2010, with a collection of 50 pastors from around the country, Daniel began a pastoral fellowship centered around the supreme priorities of the early church leaders, “But we must give ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:4).

TWENTY-FIVE IN ’25 / 2025
Today, a quarter century of serving the local church has brought great perspective and specific areas of focus. The 6:4 Fellowship, is made up of thousands of pastors across the country and around the world with Regional Directors and Catalysts in place to shepherd and empower these vital leaders. The 6:3 Discipleship, with its Renewal Coaches (many of which are 6:4 pastors) are passionate about encouraging the concept of Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based prayer and helping 6:4 leaders to be surrounded with people of good reputation, that are full of the Holy Spirit and full of wisdom.

As a 501c3, Strategic Renewal International depends heavily on the generous donations of people like you who believe in the great need for renewal, revival, and restoration.

Strategic Renewal exists to strengthen the local church by empowering leaders to be like those described in Acts 6:4 and partnering with those leaders in encouraging disciples to become like those in Act 6:3. Through the foundation of Scripture-fed, Spirit-led, Worship-based prayer, its core focus is healthy local-church leadership, by the sufficiency of the Holy Spirit, in the pursuit of cultural transformation through the local church.

To do this, we provide resources for spiritual and personal renewal, to equip and mobilize churches to pray, and to train pastors to lead the Church in prayer through unparalleled coaching experiences, prayer summits, conferences, and other ministry elements.

We envision this work bringing about an awakening like the one described in Acts 6:7.

Prayerless churches are powerless churches. Sadly, the majority of churches in North America today are largely prayerless.

Now more than ever, the church in North America is in critical need of Christian leaders, clergy and laypeople, who are committed to seeking God, proclaiming His word, and leading His people to experience the supernatural power of Christ.

We are convinced that if we can raise up and empower leaders like those in Acts 6:4, and encourage them to surround themselves with disciples like in Acts 6:3, this (our work) will lead to an awakening (His work) like in Acts 6:7. Strategic Renewal finds affinity in, what you might call, a divine pattern: 6:4 + 6:3 = 6:7

Tracy Adams

Tracy joined the Strategic Renewal Team in 2021, and serves as an Administrative Assistant across both sides of the ministry including the practical aspects of our coaching and the Strategic Renewal store. She lives with her husband Justin and their son Kenny in Castle Rock, CO.

Todd Bright

Todd Bright founded Bright & Associates, LLC, in 2014. It was started with a desire to see God’s kingdom advance and ministry flourish. While there are many roles to making this a reality, the part Todd desired to play was, and remains, that of providing highly-skilled outsourced financial services so that ministry leaders could focus their full attention to the work God had set before them. Since that time, the firm has expanded and had the opportunity to come alongside numerous churches and ministries both within Colorado and across the globe. As a firm that specializes in church and non-profit finances, Bright & Associates is distinctly aware of both the challenges and joys that ministry work can entail. While the call to ministry may involve a variety challenges, though, it is our philosophy that the financial process should not be one of them. Because of that, our goal is streamline and simplify whatever we can for the organizations we work with so they can focus on what they do best.

Ricky Cassford

Ricky Cassford has been in ministry nearly his whole life. Growing up in the home of Salvation Army pastors, he has always enjoyed media, activities, and ministries that edify the Church. For the last 20 years he has volunteered with his local church leadership to encourage spiritual growth within the church-body through teaching, facilitating small groups, worship, as well as writing, organizing, and performing dramatic presentations for special events and VBS/Day Camps. Ricky’s heart beats strongly for men taking up “the mantle of Dad-hood;” to intentionally pour into their children. He is the author of the children’s book, “A Magnificent Treasure,” which captures a father’s love for his daughter in a fun and fantastical way. Ricky serves as the Director of Communications for the ministries of Strategic Renewal and lives in Lone Tree, CO with his beautiful wife, Heidi, and two of their four children.

Len Crowley

Len Crowley is the Founder of Forgiven Communities – advocating for biblical church purpose and practice. He currently serves as the International Director of The 6:4 Fellowship and coordinates 6:4PRESS Publishing and the 6:4 National Gathering. The 6:4 Fellowship is a consortium of 2,500 pastors in North America advocating the leadership priority found in Acts 6:4 – “continually devoting ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the word” (64fellowship.com).

During his nearly 40 years of Christian ministry, Len has been the lead pastor of four churches, a Bible teacher, board member, and ministry director. He also co-founded Whole in One (designing multi-ethnic collaborations),has led PLI Global (character-based leadership training), helped direct Counsel & Capital (a non-profit investment bank), and taught as a National Instructor with Walk Thru the Bible. Len lives with his wife Linda in Monument, CO.

Amber Doggett

Amber started serving with SRI in 2018. She left for a few years beginning in 2020, but not for long. While she was working as Dennis Henderon’s assistant at Northlake Church, he became the National Director of The 6:4 Fellowship. She continued to assist him even though that transition and thereby rejoined the Strategic Renewal team, in 2021, under the banner of The 6:4 Fellowship. She currently serves as the administrative assistant for 6:4, and feels tremendously blessed to serve pastors all around the world. Amber has been married for almost to her best friend, Will, since 2008. Together they have ten year old boy/girl twins, and a four year old girl. In 2022, in their Texas home, they felt the Lord lead them to leave, and go on an adventure to the east coast. They had no idea where they would end up, but after two months of searching, He led them to Moncks Corner, SC where they live currently.

Sally Hahn

Sally is a long time friend of Daniel Henderson and his family. She has been part of the ministry, in some fashion, since its beginning, and continues to faithfully serve in the background on Facebook Live sessions and in other special projects that arise over the course of the ministry. Sally lives in Lone Tree, CO.

Christa Henderson

Christa joined the Strategic Renewal team in October, 2021, where she serves the Ministry Advancement team in Donor Relations and Administration. She and husband, Justin Henderson, have five kids and live in Northern Wyoming where they do ministry on the local Native American reservations. During their free time, the Hendersons enjoy all things outdoors: hiking, swimming, fishing, and hunting.

Daniel Henderson

As a senior pastor for nearly three decades, Daniel Henderson brought prayer-based revitalization to thousands in congregations in California and Minnesota. Now, as the President of Strategic Renewal and Global Director of The 6:4 Fellowship, Daniel is dedicating his full-time efforts to help congregations across the country and world experience renewal. As a “pastor to pastors” he leads renewal events in local churches, speaks in a variety of leadership conferences, and coaches leaders across the world. Daniel continues to be sought after for his preaching, and his expertise in leading corporate prayer. He is the author of eleven books including, Old Paths, New Power and Transforming Prayer: How Everything Changes When You Seek God’s Face. Daniel currently lives in, Moneta, VA with his wife Rosemary.

Dennis Henderson

Dennis Henderson left the senior pastorate after 54 years of pastoring to become the North America Director for The 6:4 Fellowship. He continues to consult with his home church, Northlake Church in Lago Vista, Texas, as the Pastor of Kingdom Advancement and Prayer. As North American Director for The 6:4 Fellowship, Dennis, oversees activities, events, and Regional Directors across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He and Billie have been married since 1965, and have four adult children and nine grandchildren. Billie and Dennis have a passion to help ministry couples and support the ministry of prayer in the local church through The 6:4 Fellowship. Dennis and Billie live just outside of Austin, TX.

Justin Jeppesen

Justin, most recently served as a pastor and professor at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN. He led hundreds of young adults along with other staff in the rhythms of prayer and the ministry of the word. Before serving in his role at Northwestern, Justin spent 10 years in pastoral ministry at a local church where he was first introduced to Strategic Renewal and is a graduate of two coaching cohorts. He now serves as the National Director of The 6:3 Discipleship and trains church members to be supportive and contributing members of their local congregation. Justin and his wife of 10 years, Maddy, have two kids and live in St. Paul where they get to experience all the wonderful seasons God has created!

John Myers

John and his wife Mary have been married since 1974, and have 5 children (all married) and 9 grandchildren. They worked with Life Action Ministries for 47 years, until joining Strategic Renewal, during which time he traveled as a singer with one of the Life Action Teams, went on staff as Team Director, and then started the Presummit Ministry for Life Action. In 1988, he launched the Donor Development Department where he served for 35 years. John serves Strategic Renewal as the Director of Ministry Advancement, bringing with him years of experience in building relationships with pastors and churches, and helping donors develop the gift of giving to advance God’s Kingdom. He and Mary live in Lynchburg, VA.

Ashton Phelps

Ashton has worked in social media management since 2021, working with multiple ministries during that time. She is thankful for the opportunity to work for Strategic Renewal because she sees the positive impact it has on church leaders/pastors’ lives. The last few years have been a great demonstration of God’s faithfulness in her life and her understanding of what it means to be a believer in this world! Ashton enjoys taking walks outside, especially after a long day working on the computer! She would love to travel and hopes to continue working in ministry for the rest of her career, perhaps even overseas! She currently lives in Savannah, GA.

Carley Phelps

Carley joined Strategic Renewal in July 2013 and has served in many capacities since then. She currently functions as the Project Manager for both sides of the ministry including The 6:4 Fellowship and The 6:3 Discipleship. She and her husband Jay live in Highlands Ranch with one of their three children.

Heather Rea

Heather started working part-time for Strategic Renewal in January 2023. She has been a licensed hairdresser for 15 years and continues to work in this industry. Most of her free time is spent with her husband and two young boys who keep her busy. While working for Strategic Renewal, she has enjoyed getting to communicate with various churches and organizations. She loves getting to hear personal testimonies of how Daniel’s ministry has impacted so many, including pastors and their congregations. She currently lives with her family in Moneta, VA.

Brad Thompson

Brad spent 40 years in the Forest Products industry and retired in 2019 as President and CEO for Columbia Forest Products (North America’s largest producer of decorative hardwood plywood.)’ He served on various non-profit Boards serving as Board Chairman for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro, NC, Board Chairman for The Hardwood Federation and Board President for the Hardwood Industry’s PAC. Brad has a passion for workplace ministry associating Columbia Forest Product’s plants with Corporate Chaplains, His Way at Work and C12 leadership support. He received the C12 Group’s “Hero Award” for workplace ministry. Brad received the Association of Fundraising Professional’s Outstanding Philanthropist Award and has also served as a Gideon. Brad and his wife Libby of 42 years currently live at Smith Mountain Lake, VA where he serves on the Photography Team at Eastlake Church. Brad started a day and evening Men’s Bible Study Fellowship group for the SML area and serves as a group leader. Brad serves a Chief Operating Officer for Strategic Renewal. He and his wife have three grown children and one granddaughter.

Jim Maxim

Jim is the President and founder of Maxim Automotive, which specializes in forming and managing re-insurance companies for Automotive Dealers. He and his wife Cathy have been involved in inner city ministry for over 30 years as regular hosts of city-wide prayer gatherings, founders of Acts 4:13 (a ministry dedicated to mobilizing the church to prayer for pastors), and board members of People for People and World Impact. Jim is also the Chairman of The Hope Center, an urban crisis pregnancy center in North Philadelphia, as well as an author and public speaker. He faithfully serves as the Chairman of the SR Board of Directors, and has been a board member since 2015.

Joel Archer

Joel Archer is the founder and president of Archer Financial Services and has worked extensively in the field of financial management for over 20 years. He has served on the board of many community and non-profit organizations. His passions have led him to chair numerous organizations and events to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars benefiting the Sacramento region. Joel and his wife Amanda have been married since 2015. Joel’s passions include church, community, golf, hunting, and of course spending time with his family and his newborn son. Joel currently serves as the Vice Chairman to the SR Board of Directors, and has been a board member since 2010.

Josh Stamm

Josh is the Owner and Financial Advisor for Legacy Wealth Management in Lynchburg, Virginia. He and his wife Dawn have two children, Logan and McKenna. The whole family shares a passion for music and enjoys actively serving in their home church, Eastlake Community Church at Smith Mountain Lake! Josh currently serves as the Treasurer to the SR Board of Directors, and has been a board member since 2010.

Ann Wong

Ann’s practice as an OB/GYN in California’s Bay Area is an integration of her faith and work, and a conduit of God’s blessings to others. Her other passions and ministry involvement are in the areas of worship, discipleship, teaching, and prayer. Ann currently serves as Secretary to the SR Board of Directors, and has been a board member since 2010.

Tony Brown

Best known for his expertise in logistics, Tony knows how to get people and products from one place to another efficiently. After spending over three decades as a global supply chain executive, his passions now include coaching others – from business professionals in the industry to his grandsons in baseball. Tony has been married to his high school sweetheart, Brenda, for over 40 years. They reside in Buford, Georgia. He has been a member of the SR Board of Directors since 2008.

Mike Mitchener

Mike Mitchener is the pastor of Riverview Baptist Church in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. Mike was also the founding and Senior Pastor of Westside Fellowship in Elon, North Carolina for over 20 years. Mike has been in local church ministry for more than 30 years. Prior to that, he had a successful business career. He is a board member of Strategic Renewal and serves on our speaking team. Mike and his wife, Stephanie have been married since 1984, and they have three sons, two of whom are married, and are blessed with three grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Mike has been a member of the SR Board of Directors since 2019.

Bill Molinari

Bill has had an extensive career in both business and ministry. He spent 21 years at VanKampen Funds rising to the position of President of the Distribution Company. Under his leadership his company won the prestigious Dalbar Award for the outstanding distribution company in the industry in 1995. Since spearheading the sale of VanKampen Funds to Morgan Stanley for $1.2 billion in 1996 Bill has been involved in ministry. He was Executive Director of Leadership Resources International from 2000-2006 and then joined the staff of the Harvest Bible Fellowship until 2017. At HBF, Bill was involved with the recruiting, training and coaching of over 100 church planters. Bill has served on over a dozen boards in business and ministry including Pioneers, Grace to You, Slavic Gospel, Leadership Resources and the Harvest Bible Fellowship. He and his wife Cheryl have eight grown children and seventeen grandchildren. Bill has been a member of the SR Board of Directors since 2019.

Alice Moss

Alice Moss is a Bible teacher, retreat speaker, workshop leader, and worship-based prayer facilitator. She has a unique ability to reach women with her genuine, enthusiastic love for Jesus. She offers wise Biblical counsel to women based on a mature and clear understanding of God’s Word. She recently authored a biographical book, I Crossed Over, which recounts her own 40 year journey in prayer for her husband's salvation. Alice has been a member of the SR Board of Directors since 2019.

Tim Tyannikov

Tim was born and grew up in Uzbekistan in a pastor's family. He has many years of experience working with teen ministry. One of Tim's greatest passions is organizing and training church leaders. He co-founded and ran a software development company that services the insurance industry. Tim and his wife Lesya have been married for over 25 years and have three children and a granddaughter. He has been a member of the SR Board of Directors since February 2022.
