Ideas for Permeating Preaching with Prayer

• Prayerfully select the text.

• Read and reread your text on your knees.
• Seek to spend as much time in prayer as in study.
• Pray over the finished sermon.
• Prayerfully prepare yourself as the messenger.
• Strategically intercede for your congregation.
